October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cybersecurity became an awareness month 18 years ago, as private and public efforts combine to disseminate #cyber_information with the aim of increasing #electronic_security .

#Cyberthreats constitute a major area for increasing interest in this extremely dangerous area economically, politically, and socially, especially since the losses resulting from these threats have become extremely serious. The first cybersecurity awareness campaign was launched by the US Department of Homeland Security and the National Cybersecurity Alliance, after real life was filled with virtual reality misfortunes, i.e. electronic threats and blackmail, #ransom_attacks, #hacks, etc…

On the Arab level, Cyberax seeks to build a secure roof and strong firewalls. This is through all the awareness work and services it provides, so that we can be cyber-secure all days, months and years.

As a general reminder:

Create #different , strong passwords for all your electronic accounts

Make sure to update #passwords and applications installed on your devices

Never share your private information and data

Check the credibility of websites and links before clicking on them

Do not get carried away by everything new and any announcement that passes in front of you

Do not trust electronic friendship, attempts at rapprochement, and sudden requests

To stay safe, maintain your cyber health through periodic electronic scans, vulnerability checks, and comprehensive system updates.
