An undisputed digital civilization

It is a description of our world today. The world of the #Internet and digital civilization. A newly born civilization, but with the minds of all humanity and the age of every person. It controlled our daily lives, our businesses, our social affairs, our economy, and our politics, until it became our culture and our livelihood. Our urbanization has become linked to our level of knowledge of technology and the Internet. Our efficiency rate is measured by the extent of our familiarity and use of information technologies and programs. This new civilization has penetrated every detail of our lives, becoming natural and obligatory.

Do you imagine yourself, reader, that you are in a small room devoid of all #technology and the Internet? Isolation itself “leads to long-term physical inflammation,” according to a study conducted at the British “Surrey” and “Bruinnell” colleges. In addition, “it represents a great danger to human mental well-being,” according to what a team of researchers at the Icahn School of Medicine in the United States of America concluded. With the beginning of the Corona pandemic in the year 2019, the whole world discovered the pressures of the quarantine that was imposed as a state of emergency, but all #technology_means played the role of savior and extended a helping hand on the professional, educational, entertainment, and other levels. We have moved from the stage of social civilization, whose roots go back thousands of years and were characterized by direct communication and interaction, to the stage of #digital_civilization, where it has become possible to carry out all tasks in virtual ways. Even if the latter constitutes a fierce and winning competitor to social civilization, no competitor can confront #digital_civilization yet. This civilization saved time, cost and effort. In times of crises, it has improved operational efficiency and organization, as well as quality. It also simplified procedures for obtaining services.

While #digital_civilization ensures the continuation of life sectors, it must be noted the need to be aware of the use of its mechanisms, which, despite their portrayal of a savior, can be stifling if one dives into them without control and precaution. It is also our duty, at CyberX, to shed light on all aspects of this unlimited space, so that we remain the first Arab platform for awareness of #cybersecurity and digital knowledge, in word and deed.
