Beirut Airport was subjected to a hacking operation by a group calling itself “Soldiers of God,” which hacked screens and broadcast messages against Hezbollah.

The #hackers hacked the #flight_information display system and displayed on screens throughout the airport messages demanding the liberation of the airport from the hands of Al-Duwailah and directing accusations against the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, for bringing weapons through the airport. It holds him responsible for involving Lebanon in a war.

The messages stated: “In the name of God and the people, Rafik Hariri Airport is not the airport of Hezbollah and Iran. Oh Hassan Nasrallah, you will not find a supporter if Lebanon is entangled in a war for which you will bear responsibility and consequences. Hezbollah, we will not fight on behalf of anyone. You flew our port and now you want to fly our airport.” Because of the introduction of weapons, let the airport be freed from the grip of the state.”

Director General of Civil Aviation, Fadi Al-Hassan, confirmed that “work is underway to turn off the screens.”

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Middle East Airlines, Muhammad Al-Hout, also revealed that “the baggage handling system is facing technical problems as a result of the #piracy_operation.”

The Soldiers of God also posted a video on their Facebook page, denying their involvement in this “satanic” act, as they described it, and adding, “This act aims to ignite strife among the Lebanese through Rafic Hariri International Airport.”

The “Soldiers of God” considered that love is greater than the strife that the hacker wanted to ignite, and that Lebanon will not submit to any satanic act, noting that any action they undertake they place on their official pages without fear.
