Apple Vision Pro and its threat to public safety (video)

The US Secretary of Transportation warned against using Apple Vision Pro glasses while driving. This comes after a video spread of a driver wearing Apple Glasses while the car was running by putting it on self-driving. 

After the recent launch of the “#Apple_Vision_Pro” in the American markets, controversy began to escalate about its threat to public safety. Most of the viral videos show people wearing glasses while performing real-life tasks, such as a man crossing the street wearing glasses and moving his hands and another taking the subway.

Through the release of the Vision Pro helmet, Apple promises the ability to “blend #digital_content and virtual reality with tangible physical reality.” 

The video attached above shows how these glasses work while wearing them, as the man appears in a restaurant and he is able to communicate with the restaurant staff and talk to them while at the same time reviewing the applications offered by Vision Pro.

Apple says in its user guide for Vision Pro that #users must be aware of the surrounding environment and body position during use, as it is designed for use in safe areas and on a flat surface. Apple warns against using it around stairs, balconies, glass, mirrors, sharp objects, sources of excessive heat, or other hazards, as well as while driving a moving vehicle, bicycle, heavy machinery, or in any other situations that require attention to safety.
